Our dedicated Champion, Jen Corda is at the forefront of bridging the gap between clinical expertise and data management.

Data Request Process: We have implemented a streamlined data request process to facilitate access to relevant data for research and quality improvement projects. Jen is well-versed in this process and can guide you through the steps, ensuring seamless and timely data acquisition. To request access to data for your project:

  • Please complete the Data Request Form
  • Our Clinical Data Champions will review your request and guide you through the necessary steps to ensure a smooth and efficient data acquisition process
  • Your request will be triaged within 7 working days

About the Physiotherapy Champion Jen Corda: Jen is a senior respiratory physiotherapist and cardiorespiratory team leader at RCH. Jen has completed her Master of Research, a health service research fellowship through the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health and holds an honorary position at MCRI as part of the health services research team. Jen works primarily with children with Cystic Fibrosis and has interests in exercise testing and training alongside evolving clinical models of care to match the changing landscapes of healthcare to one which includes the implementation of digital health. Jen is excited to improve both her and the physiotherapy departments capability in using data to inform and improve the care provided to children at the Royal Children’s Hospital through the centre of Health Analytics clinical data champion position.

Collaboration and Support: Jen will foster a collaborative environment, working closely with clinicians, researchers, and other stakeholders to identify data-driven opportunities for improvement. She can provide support, guidance, and mentorship to colleagues undertaking quality improvement, EMR optimisation, and research projects, ensuring the successful implementation of data-driven initiatives.

Research and Innovation: By leveraging data analytics and digital health solutions, Jen has the ability to contribute to groundbreaking research and innovation for Physiotherapy. She plays a pivotal role in identifying trends, evaluating outcomes, and driving evidence-based practices to optimise patient safety and care delivery.
